Privacy Policy

Mobile App: Fidel & Co Coffee Roasters

Effective Date: July 8, 2026

Fidel & Co. Coffee Roasters (“Fidel & Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) roasts and serves coffee, and we built this app so you can order ahead, earn rewards, load a gift card, and find the nearest shop without any hassle. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Fidel & Co Coffee Roasters app (the “App”), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it the way we’d explain it to you over the counter — plainly, and without the fine print doing the opposite of what the plain language says.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App — you’re always welcome to order at the counter instead.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

When you create an account, place an order, join our loyalty program, or buy a gift card, we collect:

      Name

      Email address

      Phone number

      Payment information — processed through our point-of-sale partner, Toast, Inc. (“Toast POS”). We don’t store your full card number ourselves; Toast handles that securely on our behalf. See Section 3 for more on Toast.

      Order history — what you’ve ordered, when, and from which location, so we can personalize your experience, track your rewards, and handle receipts or refunds.

Information we collect automatically

When you use the App, we also collect:

      Device data — things like device type, operating system, app version, and unique device identifiers, which help us keep the App running smoothly and fix bugs.

      Location data — with your permission, we use your device’s location to show you the nearest Fidel & Co. shop and estimate pickup times. You can turn this off anytime in your device settings; you’ll just need to pick your shop manually.

      Push notification tokens — a unique identifier your device generates so we can send you order updates, reward alerts, or promotions, if you’ve opted in. You can disable push notifications anytime in your device settings.

We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. See Section 8 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

      Take, prepare, and fulfill your mobile orders

      Process payments through Toast POS

      Track and apply your loyalty rewards

      Issue, load, and redeem gift cards

      Show you the nearest shop and estimated pickup or delivery times

      Send push notifications about your order status, rewards, or occasional promotions (if you’ve opted in)

      Maintain your account and respond to your questions or support requests

      Improve the App — fixing bugs, understanding what features people use, and making ordering easier

      Keep the App and our systems secure, and prevent fraud

      Comply with our legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.

3. Who We Share Your Information With

Fidel & Co. does not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

The only outside companies that ever touch your information are the vendors who help us run the App itself, and they may only use your information to provide that service to us:

      Toast, Inc. (Toast POS) — processes your payment information and order transactions. Toast maintains its own privacy practices for the data it processes on our behalf; we encourage you to review Toast’s privacy policy for details on how Toast handles that information.

      Our push notification service provider — delivers the notifications described above using your device’s notification token. This provider does not use your information for its own purposes.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Fidel & Co., our customers, or others. If Fidel & Co. is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the protections of this Policy.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes — things like maintaining accurate financial and order records, resolving disputes, complying with tax and accounting laws, and enforcing our agreements. We don’t keep data around longer than we have a real reason to. When we no longer need your information, we delete or anonymize it.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access, correction, and deletion

You can review and update most of your account information — name, email, phone number — directly in the App under Account Settings. You can also delete your account and associated data at any time directly within the App (Account Settings > Delete Account), or by emailing us at privacy@remolinos.group. When you request deletion, we’ll delete your personal information except where we’re required or permitted to retain it — for example, transaction records we need for tax purposes.

Your choices about notifications and location

      Push notifications: turn these off anytime in your device’s notification settings.

      Location: turn this off anytime in your device’s location settings; you can still use the App and manually select your nearest shop.

State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others), such as the right to know what personal information we hold about you, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to opt out of the sale or “sharing” of personal information. Fidel & Co. does not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there’s nothing to opt out of on that front — but you can still exercise your access, correction, and deletion rights by contacting us at privacy@remolinos.group. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

6. How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and payment processing is handled by Toast POS using its own industry-standard security measures. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

7. App Store and Google Play Disclosures

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and both platforms require us to disclose our data practices in a standardized format — Apple’s “App Privacy” (Privacy Nutrition Label) and Google Play’s “Data Safety” section. Those in-store disclosures summarize the same practices described in this Policy: the categories of data we collect (contact info, payment info, location, order history, and identifiers), that this data is used to provide app functionality (not third-party advertising), and that we do not sell your data. If anything in our App Store or Google Play listing appears to conflict with this Policy, this Policy governs.

As noted above, you can request deletion of your account and data directly within the App, in addition to emailing us — consistent with both platforms’ account deletion requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we’ve inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we’ll delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@remolinos.group so we can address it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — to reflect changes in our practices, new features, or legal requirements. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy and, where appropriate, notify you through the App or by email. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

10. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where applicable state or federal privacy law requires otherwise.
